dna results

we got a pkg in the mail yesterday. it was the certificate for stella's dna and some other paperwork explaining how to read it. the most exciting part though was a photograph of stella with her birth mother. i'm so happy to have this for her. i know she will cherish it one day.

i SO need to start her book. i'm such a procrastinator! anyone have any suggestions on how to get started? i think that's my problem . . . i just don't know where to start! that's wierd considering i'm a designer . . . but i'm stumped. it just seems so much more important than anything i've ever done before!

AND, i want some comments people. today is MY delurking day. so, if anyone is out there reading, please leave a comment.

sorry, still had your blog open - seems I start opening a bunch of windows and forget to close them until the afternoon! my husband and I (both architects) are adopting a little girl from guatemala. so...anytime you are feeling a little less creative and stressing about the whole thing, believe me, i understand! we just got the DNA a couple of weeks ago and no amount of hoping can make that PA come any quicker! glad to see there are some creative people in springfield! i am from kc originally, but i have a lot of family in that area around jeff city. now...get back to work!

In some fashion you have already started Stella's book. All these blog pages that express your excitement, love, frustrations, time-line are a chronicle of her beginnings in your life. You're very creative and when the right format for the book comes to your mind, you'll know it. Betty
