aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand . . .

2nd dna - CHECK! stella's dna was taken last friday, feb 22. WOW. that was really FAST! any of you that know our story know that we have been trying to have a baby for the past 3 (almost 4) years. we have done more waiting than i care to even say. now that this process is coming to a close it feels like things are happening SO FAST! it's so odd. i can't believe it's really going to happen. i feel like i should be doing more to get ready. i feel like i should have more lists or more things to buy or more things to do?!?!?! i do need to work on another list of final things to buy for our trip. however, i'm not entirely sure what else i need?!?!?! i feel so unprepared for this entire thing?!?!?! is this normal? any other adoptive moms out there feel this way when it was almost time for pick-up? anyone have any suggestions of things they didn't take but wish they would've had or things they absolutely could not live without???? suggestions would be fabulous people!!!

Not an adoptive parent only a supportive adoptive friend so i think you should take:
Passport (Hee Hee)
Camera (Video and Digital)
Lap Top so that you can update us daily through the blog with pictures and stories of Stella
Your adoptive bracelet for Stella
Clothes (lots and lots of clothes)
A list of handy telephone numbers and addresses if needed on minutes notice.
A journal if you're not blogging online
All kinds of medicines (i am a freak about that) Tylenol, immodium,IB Profeun, Childrens medicine's / first aid kit
Tampons (sorry but it had to be said: just in case...)
A photo album, childrens books, a teddy bear or baby doll for when you get her and are rocking her to sleep for the very first time.
OMG- it is going to be SOON!!
I am sure the other mothers will be much more help in this department but this was all I could come up with.
OH. may want to investigate the area online to be more familiar with what will be around you during your stay??

i would say a nice, young, strapping young red-headed fellow to take along would be important and very helpful. you know... for diplomatic affairs. just a thought.

Oh heavens...I'm not sure the red-headed fellow would really be much help! ha ha. Nati, you're ready. You'll have what you need...her momma and daddy! j
